 Branded Brochure Rough When it came time to create the actual rough for the brochure from paper to online with InDesign it was honestly harder to figure out where I wanted certain things to go like the pictures and my logo itself.As such for the master page I wanted my logo to actually be like it is being projected or shown through a hologram so I made a beam and decreased its opacity to make it seem like my logo is being shown. With that to further show that I used a technology looking background to further amplify or show what the brochure is going to be about. With the master page figured out I was able to more simply mange the layout on the inside of the brochure. Although some of the page are of the brochure are just white I will probably use a bluish background to fit the theme of the brochure. For some of the pages I will used paragraph will some of the other I will simply use ball-point to make it clear and understand for the customer to understand the point of the brochur...

 Branded Brochure   Do some research and think about the brochure you will design. Answer these questions:  What is the main message?   The main message of my brand or for my brochure is to get people to buy my products.  What are the secondary messages? The second message is mostly directed to people or to company that want to advertise their own products using my products of holograms.Thats why I specifically say "Enter into a whole new word of holograms"  Specific text? The world is in 3D and we believe digital displays should be too. Type Pairing for your Brand by Juan Diaz

Type Pairing   In my original logo designs and my final logo design I mainly focused on the design itself instead on the font of the logo. With that the font itself for the title of my brand is Arial. Arial itself is a sans-serif typeface. For the Letter proportion I used a font called Archer. Archer is a slab-serif typeface. As for the line quality I used the impact font.  As for Complementary Mood I used Oswald which is a sans serif type face. I used this font as it seems and is shown to be clear and simple making it easy for anyone to understand the point of the font. I also used it as it seems professional and serious about my brand.  For the historical period I chose Old Standard TT which was made in the late 19th and early 20th century and Arial being made in 1982. Old Standard was made by  Alexey Kryukov and Arial being from  Robin Nicholas and Patricia Saunders.

Retouching by Juan Diaz

  Retouching Before After In this assignment we use a different tool of retouching in a image or design. These tools being the clone tool,  Spot Healing Brush tool and content aware tools. Within the first design I used the spot healing brush tool to remove the reflection of the mountains in the water. I also removed some of the rock that also reflected in the water. In the second picture I used the content aware tool. With the lasso tool I removed the house from the background and the content aware tool filled the missing the  color of the once house that was there. For the final picture I used the clone tool to clone the animals like the chickens, and goat into the field of the farm.

Webinar Blog Reflection

  Webinar Blog Reflection Alex: Alex did a good job in his presentation as he presented clearly his Printed Ad about his steps and his methods used. Something he should have done better is to speak louder.  work Bryan:  Although he was a back up. He did a good job in presenting his own work of logos and his process of each step. Out of the four people that presented , Bryan was the only one that I heard at least out loud and clear. Some of the things he had to improve on is on the font and color of the logo and to mainly focus on hierarchy.  Some other stuff he can improve on is also on the Printed Ad is to reduce the amount of  color used in the Printed Ad and to make the paragraph  words and letters white to make the writing more understandable and to make it easier to read.   "Non-Destructive Image Adjustments" Black and white      As shown in the picture itself black and white is what the name suggest. Black and White make the picture turn black and white. Brightness/Contrast Brightness/Contrast does two things in photoshop. Brightness increases or decrease depending on the brightness levels. While contrast determine the number of shades in the image. Both the brightness and the contrast go hand and hand with each other. Channel Mixer Channel Mixer is an adjustment layer that mixes or adds individual colors into the picture like Red, Blue and Green. As such within the picture the main color that are being shown are green in the floor and in the corners with pink being mainly in the middle. Color Balance Color balance changes the overall mixture of colors in an image and is used for color correction.  Color balancing adjustment layers allow to easily color highlights, shadows, and mid-tones individually.   ...

                                        Three Masking Techniques Within these designs contain materials around the classroom. As such the materials used were the mouse, fire extinguisher, a bottle of hand sanitizer, a water bottle and a red marker. For the first design I did a simple design relating with the water bottle and the marker. I combined them to make the water bottle as if it has legs with the markers walking to the right side.  For the second design which was  uses a mask to reveal part of an image in a lower layer I combined a fire extinguisher with a bottle of hand sanitizer. I decide on putting the hand sanitizer behind the fire extinguisher to make it as if  the fire extinguisher uses hand sanitizer to stop fires.
